Huge Shark Spotted at Byron Bay
Although this looks like a painting, it is in fact a cleverly placed mirror. The frame is a custom made Water gilded, silver gilt with 12ct white gold leaf featuring an etched and burnished pattern. It has also been lightly antiqued. Inside we have placed a custom made antique mirror.
Photographing mirrors is always a challenge but the trick is to use the reflection to your advantage. Find an interesting subject and shoot it using the mirror as essentially a large filter.
